Badami Banashankari Devi jatre (ಬಾದಾಮಿ ಬನಶಂಕರಿ ಜಾತ್ರೆ) happens every year for a period of about three weeks . Devotees from Karnataka and from other neighboring states Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and from different towns belonging to different religious beliefs, come here to get darshanam of Banashankari Devi and to celebrate the festival.
Music, Drama , circus, Rasamanjari (Music based programs) , small restaurants, toys shop, and other shops are organised /opened . The shows will run day and night . One can the feel of divinity and get entertainment too.
The BADAMI BANASHANKARI DEVI JATRE is also a shopping destination for various items like Hole Alur artistic works like carved door frames and doors made of teak wood and other varieties of wood. Cattle fair is also held during this festival , people will buy and sell bulls .
The Rath Yatra or chariot festival of the goddess held every year starts on the full moon (Banada Hunnime) day .

Like every year, this year the Dharmik Programs, homa, havana etc shall be performed accordingly.
Due to the pandemic situation and as directed by govt orders, devotees are thereby informed that they cannot be lively present for the programs.
Devotees cannot be the participants of the above programmes as per directives.We kindly the devotees to co-operate and help us fight this pandemic situation by following the rules and regulations in order to safeguard eachother.From 15 Jan 2021 to 31 Jan 2021, the temple shall be closed for darshan as per directives. We regret the inconvenience and request the devotees to co-operate accordingly as we got update from the temple facebook page.
